Two model ranges are in the programme, the JPK 10.10 / 10.30 since 2010 and the JPK 11.80 / 45 since 2015, both to this day. The yard in France builds fast cruising and racing yachts in lengths from 10 to 14 metres. For the contract this means: racing use must be declared.
Club races are included from Basis-Plus. Races with scoring status you declare when taking out the policy, and since JPK yachts are used in offshore races, this point should be settled before the first race. Cover then applies from the outset.
On sailing yachts the sail area enters into the premium, together with value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range. Full hull cover works with an agreed value, indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. Third-party liability ranges from 10 to 50 million euros limit of indemnity.

From which tariff are races included?
Club races are covered from Basis-Plus. Races with scoring status, such as those sailed in offshore regattas, you declare when taking out the policy so that this use is recorded in the contract.
How does the sail area of a JPK 11.80 affect the premium?
On sailing yachts the sail area replaces engine power as the calculation factor. Together with value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range it determines the premium, not the brand.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
