From the programme, the 45 Aft Deck motor yacht is recorded, built between 1986 and 1993. Production therefore lies in the past, and only used boats are in circulation. For such yachts the agreed value is the decisive point in the contract, because it fixes the value bindingly from the outset.
With the agreed value, the value is agreed when the contract is concluded and is not subsequently reduced in the event of a claim. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. In this way even a yacht from the eighties remains covered in full.
Alongside collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts, limited hull cover includes fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Yes. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Year of build, place of purchase and previous owners do not stand in the way of a contract.
How is the value of a yacht that has not been built for a long time determined?
The basis is the replacement value including engines and equipment. This value is agreed as an agreed value and remains the decisive basis of calculation in the event of a claim.
