The Arden 4 is the only documented model range of this sailing yacht yard, built from 1965 to 1971. Anyone who moves such a boat today launches and cranes it regularly. Our cover continues to apply precisely during those operations, and an associated boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
Production lies more than fifty years in the past. For us that is no reason for exclusion: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The agreed value fixes the value bindingly, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
The framework is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover takes on fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards.

Frequent questions
Can a yacht from the nineteen sixties still be insured?
Yes. Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners play no part in acceptance. The Arden 4 was built from 1965 to 1971 and is rated like any other boat according to value, type of boat and cruising range.
Does the trailer have to be insured separately?
No. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Launching, craning and the transport route also remain included, without your needing a separate policy for them.

For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
