Under full hull cover NAMMERT agrees an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, so a build year from the eighties does not rule out cover. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. A boat passed on over decades therefore remains fully insurable.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, while limited hull cover carries fire, storm, lightning strike, theft and damage in winter storage. The premium follows the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range. We cancel the previous policy free of charge under the switching service.

What does agreed value mean in the event of a claim?
The agreed value is the amount agreed in advance that is paid in the event of a total loss. There is no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and no discussion about the depreciated market value of the boat.
