Is rust on a steel yacht a claim?
No. Corrosion builds up over years and counts as wear. What is insured are sudden events, such as water ingress after a collision. That is why regular maintenance on steel ships is also an insurance matter.
What is the difference between the Luna and the Nordzeekotter?
The Luna is a slim motor yacht for inland and coastal waters, while the Nordzeekotter takes up the shape of a North Sea cutter. For premium and cover it is not the line that counts but length, value, engine power and cruising area.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
