The Juwel 34 was built between 2000 and 2008; anyone taking one over today is buying second-hand. That is exactly what we also offer legal expenses cover for water sports for: it applies to disputes after buying a used boat and to disagreements with a yard, for example about defects after a repair.
For the yacht itself the sail area is the rating feature, joined by value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand stays out of it. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff onwards, and races with ranking status you state when taking out the policy so that they appear in the contract.
The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit for the yacht.
