Worth knowing
Crown; cover, cost and conditions
When buying a used motor yacht the risk often lies less on the water than in the contract. For Crown the Kruiser 10.25 AK is recorded, built from 1988 to 1995. Anyone taking over such a yacht today buys it second-hand, and for that we also offer legal expenses cover for water sports.
The legal expenses cover applies in a dispute after buying a used boat as well as in disagreements with a yard. It stands alongside third-party liability, which forms the basis of every contract with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. Both can be set up before you take over the yacht.
After the purchase what counts is the value you have recorded. We agree an agreed value and pay out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). As production ended in 1995, the Premium tariff with no age limit is the fitting framework for these yachts.

Series by Crown, build years and cover
Crown Kruiser 10.25 AK is a motor yacht from Crown, built from 1988 to 1995.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
