With the Saros 50, a single motor yacht range is recorded, built since 2022 and continued to this day. Nothing more is on file for this programme. For the policy this changes nothing: what matters are the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, never the name of the yard.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, graded according to the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros cover is taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows in which the cover is determined individually.
Full hull cover with an agreed value pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. For trips across the border, the international certificate of insurance is issued automatically in ten languages and forms part of the policy.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
