Worth knowing
Fineliner Yachting; cover, cost and conditions
One model range is on record for Fineliner Yachting, the motor yacht Fineliner 31 from the years of construction 2006 to 2016. No further ranges are available, nor is any information about size or segment. The premium is based on the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range, never on the make.
Production has ended, and a boat like this comes onto the market today second-hand. We insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. In full hull cover the value is agreed as an agreed value, indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that an individual assessment follows. The hull insurance knows no time window and no night clause.

Series by Fineliner Yachting, build years and cover
Fineliner 31 is a motor yacht from Fineliner Yachting, built from 2006 to 2016.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
