With a boat from the sixties, the question of value quickly becomes contentious. For Hoggezandster we have one model range on record, the Super Floridakreuzer, a motor yacht from the years 1965 to 1972. For it we agree an agreed value, which applies in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
In the Premium tariff the full hull cover manages without an age limit, which makes the difference with a year of construction from that period. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered.
No further information on the yard is available, nor is it needed for the contract. We insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never the brand.

Frequent questions
What does agreed value mean in the event of a claim?
The value agreed when the policy was taken out is used as the basis and is indemnified with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). A subsequent discussion about the current market value is thereby avoided.
Is there an age limit for the full hull cover?
Not in the Premium tariff. Even a motor yacht with a year of construction of 1965 can be carried there under full hull cover, and the basis remains the agreed value that has been fixed.
