The Draijer sailing boat was built between 1965 and 1975 and is the only range that has come down to us. On boats from that period a current depreciated value can hardly be substantiated, which is why an agreed value is settled under full hull cover and compensation is paid in a claim with no deduction for depreciation.
In the Premium tariff this compensation applies with no age limit. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, so that a boat from the 1960s is also written into a policy. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis.
For sailing boats the sail area counts instead of the engine output, together with the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and during launching, and the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
