Three ranges are recorded, the Bestevaer 50, 53 and 60, built between 1999 and 2006. Yachts of this length move a lot of mass in harbour, and damage to other boats or to the harbour installations adds up quickly. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is therefore the basis.
You choose the amount via the tariff level: Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium differ in sum and scope of benefits. In the Premium tariff the age limit for indemnity with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") no longer applies under full hull cover. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards.
Production of these ranges ended in 2006, and all three models are used yachts today. That changes nothing for us, we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The international certificate of insurance is automatically enclosed in ten languages.

Frequent questions
Which tariff level brings which limit of indemnity?
Across the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium third-party liability ranges from 10 to 50 million euros. With the level the scope of benefits in full and limited hull cover grows as well.
Is participation in regattas covered?
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. Races with ranking status are declared when you take out the policy so that they are expressly recorded in the contract.
