Two model ranges are in the programme: the Krogen 48 / 52 Trawler since 1995 and the Krogen 55 / 58 Expedition since 2005, both still in production today, with lengths of 14 to 18 metres. They are displacement trawlers for blue water cruising that run on very low consumption. For blue water cruising, what counts above all is the agreed cruising range.
The cruising range is one of the premium factors, alongside the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the engine output, whereas the brand is not. You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.
Depending on the tier, third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros. Full hull cover works with an agreed value, pays out with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") and has no age limit in the Premium tariff.

Does hull cover also apply when sailing at night over a long distance?
Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered.
What applies for a sum insured above 2.5 million euros?
Up to 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that we examine the individual case. The international certificate of insurance in ten languages is part of the package in both cases.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.
