A large part of the year takes place ashore. In winter storage, during craning and during launching the cover remains in place, and likewise in transit. Limited hull cover additionally covers fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the whole boat.
Kolding Yachtwerft is recorded with us with two sailing yachts: the Princess 32 with years of construction from 1966 to 1987 and the Princess 28 from 1966 to 1977. Both model ranges started in the same year, the larger one ran longer. For acceptance this makes no difference, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
For yachts with years of construction from the sixties and seventies, the agreed value is the core of the contract. It is indemnified with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Rating is done via sail area, value, year of construction and cruising range.
