Nerea Yacht S.r.l.; cover, cost and conditions
Three model ranges are recorded, the Nerea 24 with years of construction from 2016 onwards and the Nerea 40 in the IB and OB versions from 2020 to 2024. The same structure applies to all three: third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros as the foundation, and on top of it full hull cover and limited hull cover as chosen.
The full hull cover works with an agreed value and indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Production ended in 2024, so what is on the market are young used boats. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows. An existing old policy is cancelled free of charge through the switching service.

Which damage does the limited hull cover include?
Fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. The full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
