A change of provider costs you no work: NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge. This also applies to motor yachts with a long contract history, such as the Biscaya models I to III, which were built between 1965 and 1973. The new cover follows on without a gap.
Three model ranges are documented, all with production ending in 1973. A yacht from that period has several owners behind it. For acceptance that plays no role: NAMMERT insures regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners and arranges the value through an agreed value.
In the Premium tariff the age limit for the indemnity with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) does not apply, which makes the difference with years of construction from the 1960s. The limited hull cover additionally covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.

Frequent questions
Does NAMMERT take over the cancellation with the previous provider?
Yes, in the switching service NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge. You state the details of the boat; up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the conclusion runs online, above that an individual assessment follows.
Does the full hull cover also apply to a yacht from 1968?
Yes. In the Premium tariff there is no age limit for the indemnity with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The basis is the agreed value that you arrange with NAMMERT when taking out the policy.
