Worth knowing
P.P.H.U 'Navigator'; cover, cost and conditions
One motor yacht range is recorded, the Navigator 999 Classic from the build years 2009 to 2020. Further models are not available. Anyone taking over such a yacht today buys it second hand, and for that, alongside third-party liability and hull insurance, we have legal expenses cover for water sports available.
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside and covers disputes after the purchase of a used boat or with a yard. It applies where third-party liability and hull insurance are not responsible, namely in disputes about defects, rectification or reversal of the purchase.
Cover on the boat itself is provided by full hull cover with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") and in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros depending on the level. Moving from another provider runs through our free switching service.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does the legal expenses cover also include a dispute with a yard?
Yes, legal expenses cover for water sports is designed for disputes after the purchase of a used boat and with a yard. It is offered in addition to third-party liability and hull insurance.
What happens to my previous policy?
We cancel the old policy free of charge. You give us the data of your boat, and we put together the new cover from third-party liability and, as you choose, limited or full hull cover.

Series by P.P.H.U 'Navigator', build years and cover
Navigator 999 Classic is a motor yacht from P.P.H.U 'Navigator', built from 2009 to 2020.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
