As a motor yacht, the Renda 62 has been in the programme since 2022 up to the present day. Anyone who crosses a national border with it needs proof that is understood there as well. We issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages, without a separate application.
The cruising range is one of the features that determine the premium, alongside the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the engine power. The brand plays no part. Hull cover has no time window and no night clause, so it also applies at night in harbour and under way.
For a yacht of this size, full hull cover with an agreed value is the core of the contract: compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual review follows.

Do I need an additional module for trips abroad?
No. The international certificate of insurance is automatically part of the cover and is issued in ten languages. The cruising range itself we set in the contract.
From what sum do you review the individual case?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros an online policy is possible. Above that limit we carry out an individual review and prepare an individual quotation.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Renda 62 is a motor yacht from Renda Yachts, built since 2022.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
