An existing policy need not stand in the way of switching: NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge, so that no deadline is missed. Four motor yacht ranges are recorded for Rittmann-Yacht, the Karat 1100 as well as the Charisma 1100, 1200 and 1300, built between 1987 and 2000.
For yachts from these years the agreed value is the core of the hull insurance. Full hull cover pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit, and we insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. A change of owner is likewise no obstacle to taking out a policy.
The premium follows from the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range, never from the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, and above that we examine the individual case. The international certificate of insurance comes automatically in ten languages.

Do you cancel the old policy for me?
Yes, with the switching service we take on the cancellation free of charge. You give us the provider and the policy number, and we match the start of the new cover to the end of the old one.
Does a gap in cover arise when switching?
The new policy is matched to the end of the old one so that no gap arises. Until the switching date the previous cover remains decisive.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
