At the beginning stands the third-party liability, including for the Schulz 37, a motor yacht range from 2013 to 2019. It bears the damage that affects others and at NAMMERT ranges from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
The three levels differ in sum and scope. Only on top of that do limited hull cover and full hull cover build. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you conclude online, and if the value lies above that, an individual review follows for your yacht and its equipment.
Under full hull cover the agreed value secures the compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and during launching.

Why is third-party liability the basis of the contract?
It covers damage caused to third parties. With a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium it forms the core, and hull insurance is added to it.
What applies above a sum insured of 2.5 million euros?
Up to 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online. Above that we carry out an individual review and tailor the contract to the yacht.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
