Three model ranges are on record: the Seidelmann 25 as a sailing boat as well as the Seidelmann 37 and the Seidelmann 299 as sailing yachts, all with build years from 1978 to 1985. For boats from this period the agreed value is the decisive point in the contract.
It is arranged when the policy is taken out and determines the indemnity under full hull cover, paid out with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
Production ended in 1985 and thus lies in the past; we insure, however, irrespective of build year, place of purchase and previous owners. Which events does limited hull cover cover?
Fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.
