Two motor yachts are on record, the Libertas 15M and the Felicitatem 20M, both in production since 2018. With newer motor yachts the choice of the limit of indemnity in third-party liability is a subject of its own: 10 to 50 million euros are possible in the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
The sum insured itself also plays a role: up to 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we review the individual case and agree the agreed value with you. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Apart from the two model ranges nothing is on record about the yard, which is of no relevance for the rating. The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, never on the brand. You receive the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.

Which limits of indemnity are possible in third-party liability?
Between 10 and 50 million euros, depending on the tariff level. Third-party liability is the basis of every policy, limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it.
When is taking out the policy online not enough?
From a sum insured above 2.5 million euros. Then an individual review follows, in which we agree the agreed value and the further details with you.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
