The Carina ran from 1965 to 2002 and thus over almost four decades, and alongside it the Carina de Luxe, the Dorado and the sailing yacht Orion are recorded. In winter storage, during craning and during launching the cover continues to apply unchanged, without a separate contract being needed for it.
Limited hull cover names damage in winter storage expressly and additionally covers fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the entire boat. Precisely in the months without use, this covers the period in which nobody looks after the boat regularly.
Anyone who wants collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard to be covered adds full hull cover. It works with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit, which counts with these years of construction.

Is damage during storage covered?
Yes. Limited hull cover comprises damage in winter storage. Cover also exists during craning, launching and in transit, not only during the season in the water.
Does the cover apply to a sailing yacht from the programme as well?
Yes. Sailing yachts and motor yachts can be insured alike. Only one premium factor differs: the sail area instead of the engine power.
