Three sailing boat ranges are recorded, K1, K2 and the Vandercraft 3000, all of them built since 2018 and to this day. Production is therefore continuing. Whether a new boat or a used boat, NAMMERT provides cover regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners.
On sailing boats the sail area takes the place of engine power and enters the premium together with the type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range. The brand is left out. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you can take out the policy online, above that we examine each case individually.
If you are coming from another company, the switching service cancels the old contract free of charge. The new contract contains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, limited hull cover and full hull cover with an agreed value as well as the boat trailer, which is included at no extra premium.

Frequent questions
What applies to a brand new sailing boat?
The value agreed is recorded as an agreed value, and full hull cover settles claims with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts are included.
Is the trailer for a sailing boat included?
The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Cover also applies during launching, during craning and on the transport route.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
