Listed is the motor yacht Zeelander 5, which has been built since 2023. With a new yacht the sum insured is at the centre: up to 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we carry out an examination of the individual case and agree the cover with you.
Third-party liability offers a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium and forms the basis of every contract. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it and govern fire, storm, lightning strike, theft and damage in winter storage.
In the full hull cover an agreed value is agreed and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation, new for old, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, without a time window and without a night clause.

Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros, yes. If the value is above that, we examine the case individually and agree the cover with you.
What proof is there for foreign cruising areas?
You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages and can present it in marinas and to port authorities.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Zeelander 5 is a motor yacht from Zeelander Yachts, built since 2023.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
