Albin 25: cover, cost and conditions
The Albin 25 is a sailing yacht and is already covered in our portfolio. For sailing yachts the premium is not based on engine power but on the sail area, together with value, year of construction and the cruising range. The brand and the model name play no part in the calculation.
Every policy is based on third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Full hull cover adds to this with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation and, in the Premium tariff, with no age limit, including collision and grounding.
Club regattas are included from Basis-Plus onwards, and races with ranking status are declared when you take out the policy. If you switch from another insurer, NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, and above that we review each case individually.
