We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, even when a boat has already had several owners.
With a sailing yacht the premium is not based on engine power but on the sail area, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The model name itself never enters the calculation. Club regattas are included from Basis-Plus onwards; please tell us about races with scoring status when you take out the policy.
The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays out with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts are included.
