Three motorboat ranges are documented for Almedahls Båtvarv: the AVA 450 as well as the two Sumatra models 605 WA and Oceanmaster 625. They were built between 2002 and 2012. For boats from these years we agree an agreed value, the amount of which is paid out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Between the end of the season and spring, such a boat usually stands ashore. Our cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the road. Limited hull cover carries fire, storm, lightning strike, the theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, full hull cover additionally collision and grounding.
Production ended in 2012, but the boats continue to be used. For the premium, therefore, it is not the brand that counts but the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out cover online, and a boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.

How are older Sumatra models treated under full hull cover?
They are insured with an agreed value. The agreed sum is replaced in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old); in the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit for the boat.
Is the trailer covered for transport?
Yes, the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Launching, craning and the journey to winter storage are included as well.
