Four ranges are recorded, among them the AO2600, the AO2800 Party Deck and, with the AO 2900 Patriot, a cabin catamaran. All of them have been running since 2018 and up to the present day. For each of these boats we agree an agreed value in the full hull cover, which is paid out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation, new for old.
Older years of construction are no obstacle here. In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit, so that a boat from the first year of the range is protected just as well as a current one. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and the boat trailer is included at no additional premium.
Alongside motor boats, the cabin catamaran brings a second type of construction into the programme. For the premium this only matters in so far as type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range are taken into account. Third-party liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis in every case.

Which damage does the limited hull cover include?
Limited hull cover comprises fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. The full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
