The Wattenpfeil is the only recorded model range, built between 1967 and 1975. If you trailer a sailing yacht of this kind, the trailer is included with us in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Launching and craning are also part of the cover, as is the journey between berth and winter storage.
For a yacht from the sixties and seventies, the arranged agreed value is what counts. It is set when the policy is taken out and paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. We provide cover regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
For a sailing yacht the premium is based on the sail area instead of on engine power, together with value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand is left out. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that we look at the individual case.

Is the boat trailer covered?
Yes, the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. A separate contract is not needed for it, and cover also applies while in transit.
