Babro Yachting B.V. is recorded with 38 models, all of them motor yachts. The Classic line comprises the 1150 XL, 1260, 1400 and 1500 at 11.8 to 15 m, the Newline the 1290 and 1500. Added to these are the Tridente 43 and 1300 at 13 m each and the Beluga models AK 1000, AK 1250, OK 1100 and OK 1250 between 11.2 and 12.5 m. Recorded production runs from 1985 into the current model years.
Babro motor yachts sit between 10 and nearly 18 m and are frequently used on inland waters and close to the coast. The cruising area is therefore the central entry: inland waters, the Wadden Sea and coastal passages differ markedly in cover. For the older years from 1985, an agreed value is advisable, because many of these vessels have been refitted over time and market value does not reflect that. With a fixed berth, pontoon, winter storage and craning belong in the hull cover.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
