A motorboat from the years 1968 to 1976 has long left the idea of current market value behind. The Nora 20, the only model range available for Bergslagsbatar, falls precisely into this period. So that no discussion about the value arises in the event of a claim, we set an agreed value in advance.
This agreed value is replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit, so that even a boat with more than fifty years of service remains in full hull cover. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts together with the outboard are covered there as well.
Since production ended back in 1976, every Nora 20 comes from second or third hand. Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners play no part in acceptance. If the sum insured remains below 2.5 million euros you take out cover online; above that we review the individual case.

Does a boat from the nineteen sixties remain eligible for full hull cover?
Yes. In the Premium tariff we waive the deduction for depreciation (new for old) with no age limit. Compensation is the agreed value that was set, regardless of the year of construction of the Nora 20.
Does it matter how many previous owners the boat has had?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. What matters is the type of boat, the value, the engine power and the cruising range in which you are under way.
