The O'pen Bic is listed as a sailing boat and was built from 2004 to 2022; the Sportyak 213 Fishing and the Sportyak 245 have run since 2016 to the present day, the Techno 293 One Design from 2006 to 2013. The basis of every contract is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.
Small craft can also damage other people's property, for example when berthing or in the crush at a starting line. That is why third-party liability comes first in all three tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Club races are included from Basis-Plus.
For the Sportyak models and the Techno 293 no type of boat is defined in the data, and we say nothing about that. In any case the premium is based on type of boat, value, year of build, sail area or engine power and cruising range, never on the brand. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff. Please state races with scoring status when taking out the policy, so that we can expressly include them in the contract.
How high should the limit of indemnity in third-party liability be?
We offer 10 to 50 million euros. Which level fits depends on the cruising range and the surroundings in which you are travelling; the brand of the boat plays no part in it.
