How is the sum insured determined for a sailing yacht?
It is agreed as an agreed value and covers the hull, the rig and the permanently associated equipment. In the event of a claim we pay compensation on this basis, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Are races within the club covered?
From the Basis-Plus tariff level upwards club races are included. Races with a scoring status are declared when the contract is taken out, so that they are taken into account in the contract from the start.
