The range includes the Angler in 16, 19 and 22 feet, the Cruiser in 16, 22 and 25 feet, the Venture in 23 and 26 feet and the Tomcat 255 catamarans. C-Dory boats are designed to stay trailerable while still offering a cabin. That shifts the risk ashore: a large share of the damage happens during transport, launching and winter storage. Hull cover should include transport, time on land and theft. The cruising area should cover the widest water of your season, because a trailer boat changes waters more often than a berthed yacht.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
