Comar Yachts is an Italian production yard and built the Comet model range over decades, the classics 26 and 31 from 1975, the 33 to 51 into the twenties. This long production period is the reason why, with Comet yachts, the current market value and the replacement value often lie far apart. An agreed value closes exactly that gap.
Comets have a sporty cut and are often sailed in club races. Racing is restricted or excluded by many providers. With us, club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards; for races with a scoring status and for rigging damage during a race, please say so when you take out the policy.
Most of these boats lie in the Mediterranean or in the Adriatic. When choosing the cruising range, check whether your summer cruise still lies within the selected zone, especially towards Greece and Turkey. An extension is possible at any time and is much easier before you cast off than afterwards.
