Is a normal boat policy enough for passenger service?
No. As soon as people are carried for payment, commercial cover with passenger liability is required. A leisure policy would not respond after a loss, particularly for personal injury.
Is the diving equipment on board covered?
Only if it is expressly included. Cylinders, compressor and rental gear represent substantial values and are listed and valued separately.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
