One motorboat is in the programme, the Diamond 550, built since 2015 and to this day. If the boat is moved on a trailer, the trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Cover applies on the transport route just as it does during craning and during launching.
With a newer boat the question of valuation remains manageable: the agreed value records the agreed sum, and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Anyone switching contract has the old contract cancelled by us free of charge.
For the calculation the type of boat, value, year of build, engine power and cruising range count. Third-party liability is available with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium, and the hull modules build on it. There is no time window in this.

Frequent questions
What happens with the trailer of the Diamond 550?
It is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. A separate contract is not necessary, and the insurance cover accompanies boat and trailer on the transport route as well.
How does the switch from an existing contract work?
We take over the switching service and cancel the old contract free of charge. You give us the details of your boat, and we agree the tariff level, agreed value and cruising range with you.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
