Ducky is represented by six sailing catamarans between 3.9 and 5.8 m. The models run in a plain numbered series: Ducky 13, 14 S, 15, 16, 17 and 19. Production has run since 2005 and continues today.
Catamarans of this size are kept on the beach or on a trailer and are rigged and de-rigged often. Third party liability is therefore the base, and transport as well as storage ashore belong in the cover, because hulls, beams and rig take the strain exactly in those phases. For build years from 2005 an agreed value is the clearer basis than a market value.

Is a Ducky 15 covered on the beach as well?
Storage and launching from the beach can be included. Since catamarans spend a lot of time ashore, this point matters more than it would for a yacht on a pontoon.
Are sails and rig covered?
Yes, provided they are part of the stated value. Sails, mast and beams count as equipment and should not be forgotten.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
