Anyone travelling abroad needs proof of insurance cover. For Fördeplast one motor boat range is recorded, the Weki 40 with years of construction from 1991 to 1998. We issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages; it is part of the policy without a separate application.
For the premium, the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range count. Whether inland waters or coast is agreed, we set it down in the policy. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis in all tariff tiers.
Production ended in 1998, so all the boats are second-hand boats. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and the agreed value in full hull cover applies in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Payment is made with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
