Worth knowing
Foiling World; cover, cost and conditions
Anyone travelling abroad needs proof in the local language. NAMMERT issues the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. One model range is recorded under Foiling World, the Foiling F101 as a cabin trimaran, built since 2013 up to the present day.
No further model ranges are available. For the policy the data of the individual boat suffice: type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area or engine output and cruising range. The brand does not enter the premium. Small production runs and home-built boats can also be insured at NAMMERT.
The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts and works with an agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
In which languages is the proof of insurance available?
The international certificate of insurance is issued automatically in ten languages. With it you prove your cover in harbours and during checks abroad, without applying for it separately.
How is a multihull classified?
Through the data of the boat: type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area or engine output and cruising range. Third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover are available in the same tariff levels.

Series by Foiling World, build years and cover
Foiling F101 is a cabin trimaran from Foiling World, built since 2013.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a trimaran the floats and their beams are the weak point, on folding models the mechanism as well.
