Worth knowing
Force Engineering; cover, cost and conditions
The Stiletto is recorded as a cabin catamaran and was built from 1976 to 1988. No further model ranges are on file. Anyone calling at foreign ports with a multihull needs proof, and we issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.
Which waters are covered is laid down by the agreed cruising range. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are included in full hull cover, damage in winter storage is already included in limited hull cover.
A catamaran from that build period is a used boat today. We insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners and pay compensation on the basis of the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). We cancel the previous policy free of charge when you switch to us.
Questions and answers

The international certificate of insurance, which you receive automatically in ten languages. Which areas are covered results from the agreed cruising range.
Does cover also apply at night at anchor?

Series by Force Engineering, build years and cover
Stiletto is a cabin catamaran from Force Engineering, built from 1976 to 1988.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
