The Weekender de Luxe motor boat was built between 1971 and 1978; no further model ranges are on record. Production lies far back, and yet such a boat can be insured: year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners play no part with us when a boat is accepted.
With a hull from the seventies, what matters is what is paid in the event of a total loss. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage.
The premium is determined by the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. There is no time window and no night clause in the hull cover.

What exactly does agreed value mean?
The value of the boat is agreed before the contract begins and is used as the basis in the event of a claim. Payment is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff even when the boat has grown old.
Is damage inside the storage hall covered?
Yes. Damage in winter storage belongs to limited hull cover, and the cover also applies during craning, during launching and in transit between hall and water.
