Recorded is an inflatable boat without an engine, the Seahawk 4, built since 2023 and still today. For small boats too the rule applies: third-party liability is the basis, because damage to other boats or installations does not depend on the size of your own boat.
With a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, third-party liability is available in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover adds fire, storm, lightning strike, the theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium.
If an outboard is added later, report it, because then the engine power counts among the premium factors and theft of parts includes the engine. Transit is covered as well, as is launching from the shore. In winter storage the cover continues too.

Does a small inflatable boat need third-party liability at all?
The size of a third-party liability claim does not depend on the size of the boat. That is why third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis of the policy here as well.
What changes when an engine is fitted?
Report the outboard with its power and value. It becomes part of the sum insured, enters the premium calculation and is covered under theft of parts in full hull cover.
