Worth knowing
Hudson Yacht Group; cover, cost and conditions
Two cabin catamarans are recorded for Hudson Yacht Group, the HH52 from the years 2018 to 2023 and the HH44 from 2020 to 2024. For both, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis on which limited hull cover and full hull cover build.
How high you choose the sum depends on the tariff level Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. Damage to other people's property when berthing or in the harbour falls into this part of the contract, whereas damage to your own hull falls into the hull cover with an agreed value.
Production of both ranges ended in 2023 and 2024, so that they are traded used today. We insure regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners. The agreed amount is carried as an agreed value and replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Which limit of indemnity can be chosen for a cabin catamaran?
Between 10 and 50 million euros, depending on the tariff level Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. Third-party liability remains the basis of the contract in any case.
Does buying abroad change anything about the cover?
No. We insure regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners. For harbours abroad you receive the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.

Series by Hudson Yacht Group, build years and cover
HH44 is a cabin catamaran from Hudson Yacht Group, built from 2020 to 2024.
HH52 is a cabin catamaran from Hudson Yacht Group, built from 2018 to 2023.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
