Between 1964 and 1997 five model ranges were built here, the motor yachts Jacabo 1260, 1425, 1700 and 2000 as well as a centreboard cruiser. Boats of this age spend the winter ashore, where the protection from NAMMERT remains in place during craning, during launching and in storage.
Limited hull cover expressly names damage in winter storage and also covers fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the whole boat. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts and pays out via an agreed value with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
As production was a long time ago, all the boats are second hand. We insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, in the Premium tariff with no age limit under full hull cover. The premium follows from type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range.

Can a centreboard cruiser from the sixties be insured?
Yes. Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners are no obstacle. On sailing boats the sail area counts towards the premium, and full hull cover works with an agreed value with no deduction for depreciation.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
