Boats from the construction years 1967 to 1975 cannot be settled on the basis of a current market value. That is why we agree an agreed value for the motor boat Sunfish V 170, which is paid out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). In the Premium tariff this arrangement applies without any age limit.
A single model range with a construction period of around eight years is documented, and production goes back a long way. That is no reason for exclusion: we provide insurance regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and small series and home-built boats can be insured too.
For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range count, never the brand. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover also applies during craning, during launching, on the transport route and in winter storage. The hull insurance knows no time window and no night clause.
