The premium arises from the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never from the model name.
Anyone sailing in a club will find club regattas included from the Basis-Plus level. Races with scoring status are declared when the policy is taken out, so that they are in the contract from the start. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis here.
Instead of engine power, it is the sail area that enters the calculation for a dinghy. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route, and a boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and theft.
