Four cabin catamarans are in the programme, the Luna 47 and the Luna 49 as well as their Power versions, built since 2019 to the present. A multihull takes up more room in harbour, which is why third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis of every policy.
It can be chosen in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. On top of it you place the hull insurance: limited hull cover for fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, full hull cover additionally for collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
For catamarans the same premium factors apply as for monohulls: type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output or sail area, and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online; above that an individual review follows.

You can choose from 10 to 50 million euros, graduated across Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. The larger the boat and the more confined the sailing area, the more the higher sum is worth having.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
