The engine power is one of the factors from which the premium arises, alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The three recorded motor yachts 1300 AC, 1300 Classic and 1500 Classic were built between 1999 and 2006. The brand itself does not enter into the calculation.
All three ranges ran in the same period, and production lies in the past. For yachts of these years of construction an agreed value is set, indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The agreed value thus remains decisive throughout the term of the contract.
In addition to third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros come limited hull cover or full hull cover. The latter covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with no time window and no night clause. Cover also applies in winter storage and during craning.

Does more engine power lead to a higher premium?
The engine power is one of several factors. Together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range it determines the premium, while the brand is left out of account.
Does hull cover also apply at night?
Yes. In the hull cover there is neither a time window nor a night clause, so the time of the damage means no restriction of cover.
